A gift of your retirement assets, such as a gift from your IRA, 401k, 403b, pension or other tax deferred plan, is a wonderful way to make a gift for the benefit of your parish and/or the ministries you choose to support. If you are like most people, you probably will not use all of your retirement assets during your lifetime. Make a gift and help further the mission of our Church.

What are the benefits?

You can make an immediate impact on furthering the mission of our Church.
Provide you with a charitable income tax deduction.
Designate your funds to support your parish and any ministries you choose.

How to Make a Retirement Assets Gift

Your retirement assets may be transferred to The Catholic Foundation by completing a beneficiary designation form provided by your plan custodian. If you designate The Catholic Foundation as beneficiary, the Church will benefit from the full value of your gift because your IRA assets will not be taxed at your death. Your estate will benefit from an estate tax charitable deduction for the gift and the overall Church benefits from your support.
